Margaret Thompson
Margaret Thompson lived at the Center for nine years during the 1920s, 80 years ago, and fondly remembers her friends at the Center (then called The Children's Home), the wonderful outings the children were taken on, the beautiful grounds, and she credits the Center for helping her become the kind and caring person she is today.
Honorees
Jack and Carol Clark
We honor the Clarks for their extraordinary long term commitment to the San Diego Center for Children. The Clark's generosity ensured that the Center could help house teens, as well as children. The Clarks care so much for the teens that they also built them a sports court and funded what will be a canopied pavilion space on the Center's main campus that will enhance the campus for all the children.
