Programs and Services | Family Findings

San Diego Center for Children’s Family Finding program works to reconnect children at the Center with biological family members. Our program works alongside therapists, social workers, Wrap workers and newly found family members, in the best interest of the child, to establish safe relationships and a healthy family environment.

In some instances we are able to assist the child in getting answers to questions they have about who their family members are and where they come from. In other instances we are able to guide the child in developing healthy relationship-building skills with people whom they have an innate connection with, and still, in other instances we are able to establish permanent, stable placement and a new home environment for a child and their family.
