Our Team is Talking!
Tom Montes I work as an Art Instructor for the non-public school at SDCC and I also teach English. I have been with the organization for 7 years now. A friend of mine was teaching here and at the time I was working somewhere else. I liked the mission of the SDCC better so I decided to come and work here instead. Our campus has a therapeutic feel to it with its beautiful landscape while many other places are just concrete. The kids are what have kept me here for so long. I learn from them everyday. I have gained a better understanding of people by working with a large team and my position here has taught me to be a good teacher and really hone my skills in special education. Our team of educators gets along great and right now we have the best group we have ever had. I am very proud of our school now and the direction we are going. I really feel that working here is a privilege and a chance to make a difference in a child's life. |
