National Foundation for Autism Research: Technical and Vocational Training Programs

NFAR is now offering technical training programs specifically designed to advance technical skills for teens and young adults with autism. These programs combine instructor-lead, hands-on training with real life applications, helping to build confidence, expertise and experiences that can lead to careers within the ever-growing and important field of software testing, computer programming and other technical professions.

Metro San Diego

Metro is the social service and community development arm of the forty-eight United Methodist Churches throughout San Diego and Imperial Counties. Center for Employment Training

CET training is designed to meet the needs of people over the age of 18 who want to learn a skill and find a job. The Open-Entry training model means that admission is possible at any time the applicant is ready.

Most ITT Technical Institute programs of study taught in residence blend traditional academic content with applied learning concepts, pursuant to which a significant portion is devoted to practical study in a lab environment. Advisory committees, comprised of representatives of local businesses and employers, help each ITT Technical Institute periodically assess and update curricula, equipment and laboratory design.
