Mental Health Systems: Employment Services

The Employment Services program helps adults with behavioral health disorders prepare for, locate, and retain meaningful jobs. We are CARF accredited in Job Development and Employment Supports. Our program is certified by the Department of Rehabilitation in Vocational Assessment. Our services are customized to reflect job readiness, interests, and skills. Our well-trained staff are diverse in culture and language, and our gender responsive services are available countywide, near or within regional behavioral health programs. Our program focuses on rehabilitation and recovery and our philosophy is everyone can work.

Services:

Vocational assessment, employment preparation, job development, job coaching, services to help create resume, job search techniques, job interviews, complete employment application, and support during the first three months of employment

Payment Options:

Funded by California State Department of Rehabilitation and HHSA San Diego County Behavioral Health Services.

Eligibility:

Ages 18 and up, with a diagnosed psychiatric disability. Must be a participant of a San Diego County funded mental health program and agree to be a participant in California State Department of Rehabilitation (DOR) program.
