The mission of New Alternatives- Transitional Housing Program Plus (THP+) is to assist and empower former foster and probation youth as they transition into adulthood by providing safe and affordable housing and comprehensive, individualized support services. As a participant-driven program, THP+ supports youth in fostering their unique talents. THP+ affords participants the greatest amount of freedom while actively working toward personal goals.

Services:
Furnished apartments, independent living skills training, career counseling and job assistance, counseling, programming for parenting youth
Payment Options:
Rent is subsidized based on the young adult's income.
Eligibility:
Former foster/probation youth who have aged out of the system, 18-24 years old, pursuing the goals of county approved Supportive Transitional Emancipation Program -Transitional Independent Living Plan (STEP-TILP), and willing to participate in the THP+ services
