New Haven Youth and Family Services: Transitional Living Program

At New Haven, we recognize that many of our aging out youth face limited options that could jeopardize their healthy growth. Our transitional living program helps young men gain necessary independence, resources and work skills. Our homes are in proximity to North County colleges for this program to allow the young men to work, live, and grow in an environment that offers them stability as they continue their journey into adulthood.

Services:

Stable housing, furnishings and basic necessities, support for overall medical and mental health, employment, education, and career planning, money management, life skills training

Payment Options:

County-contracted/AB-12/Extended Foster Care

Eligibility:

Male, 18-21 years old, former foster or probation youth

Career Counseling, General Life Skills, Money Management, Transitional Living Programs
