San Diego Unified School District: Marcy Day Treatment Program

Marcy School, a day rehabilitation program, is an alternative high school for students whose underlying mental health issues impede their ability to benefit from an education within a comprehensive school setting. The goal of the program is to offer sufficient educational supports to enable the student to return to a more traditional school environment.

Services:

Individual therapy, group and family therapy, positive therapeutic behavioral system, case management, crisis intervention, psychiatric consultation, additional district supportive services such as speech and language services, occupational and vocational therapy, and school psychologist

Eligibility:

Students are referred to the program following a mental health assessment and in conjunction with the District's IEP process.
