Second Chance: Job Readiness Training

Second Chance offers pre-employment attitudinal and job readiness training, as well as job placement support services. Second Chance uses this program to lead participants to permanent employment and self-sufficiency. With two years of graduate follow-up services — including affordable housing placement, job placement, professional clothing for interviews, computer lab support, and case management, the workforce training program can be the difference between moving up the ladder and a downward spiral.

Services:

Job readiness training, job placement assistance, assistance with job interview preparation including clothing, computer lab, case management, linkage to affordable housing

Payment Options:

The program is offered at no cost to the participants.

Eligibility:

The program is open to anyone who thinks they can benefit from it. Age 18+ for Adult Training and ages 14-24 for Youth programs.
