Kickstart: Prevention and Early Intervention Program

Kickstart’s Prevention and Early Intervention Program is recovery oriented, trained to educate the community, treat youth, and assist families in preventing psychosis.

La Maestra Family Wellness Unit

The Family Wellness Unit is Mental and Behavioral Health Services component of La Maestra Family Clinic. La Maestra’s Family Wellness Unit (FWU) began providing services in 2004. The objective of the FWU is to provide linguistically and culturally competent mental and behavioral health services focused on community education, prevention and early intervention and treatment, and to overcome stigmas and dispel myths of mental illness. The FWU is staffed with Marriage and Family Therapists, a licensed psychologist, psychiatrists, MFT interns, and Patient Services Representatives, who are culturally representative of the targeted patient population and are fluent in Spanish, Sudanese, in addition to English.

MAAC Project Recovery Home Casa de Milagros is an extended-stay residential treatment program located in San Diego that offers substance abuse treatment and other drug rehab services. Located in San Diego, California, MAAC Project Recovery Home Casa de Milagros provides special treatment drug and alcohol rehab programs for women. MAAC Project Recovery Home Casa de Milagros accepts self payment as payment for drug and alcohol rehab services. MAAC Project Recovery Home Casa de Milagros offers drug treatment programs in Spanish.

MAAC Project: Nosotros

MAAC Project Nosotros is a treatment center in Chula Vista, California that primarily focuses on substance abuse services. They also offer career pathways, education, health wellness, and housing. osotros is a multi-level bungalow atop a hill overlooking Chula Vista, and houses up to 17 adult men in a dormitory-style setting. Both communities are licensed by the California State Department of Alcohol & Drug Programs.

McAlister Institute for Treatment and Education: East Regional Recovery Center

McAlister Institute’s regional recovery centers are outpatient programs for adults struggling with substance abuse and other drug-related problems, including co-occurring mental health issues. Includes alcohol and other durg treatment and recovery services, including co-occuring disorders, PC 1000 drug diversion services and Positive Parenting for Men in Recovery. The PC1000 Program is a deferred entry of judgment program for court ordered referrals.

McAlister Institute- New Hope Teen Recovery Center

McAlister Institute Teen Recovery Centers (TRCs) provide substance abuse treatment, recovery, and education for adolescents who are using, misusing, or abusing alcohol and/or other drugs. Each program accommodates teens’ school schedules, offering after-school treatment, individual and group counseling, and structured recovery activities to help teens develop the tools they need to stay alcohol- and drug-free. Programs are conveniently located for easy access and now offer satellite locations at schools throughout the County.
