San Diego Psychiatric Hospital: Adult Emergency and Crisis Services

Walk-in emergency mental health services are available for adults and older adults who are experiencing a mental health emergency or crisis at the San Diego Psychiatric Hospital. Additionally, individuals may call the 24 Hour Access and Crisis Line at 1-888-724-7240 for assistance.

The San Diego Regional Center provides a variety of services to persons with developmental disabilities and their families that are based on individual needs and supports their independence.

San Diego Rescue Mission: Men’s Center

San Diego Rescue Mission meets the critical, diverse needs of homeless, poor and/or addicted men through our 12-month residential rehabilitation program, providing the tools, training and support to permanently transform their lives. At the very center of this state-licensed recovery program is the beginning and/or strengthening of their personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

San Diego Rescue Mission: Women and Children’s Center

Through this unique residential program, women are able to find the healing they need while simultaneously continuing to raise their children. The Women and Children’s Center provides long-term treatment to residents while incorporating Biblical principles into their lives, leading to lasting, transformative change.

The goal of Off the Street is to educate, encourage and empower youth to live their dreams, without drugs, crime or gangs.

San Diego Unified School District: Juvenile Justice Family Intervention Team

The Juvenile Justice Family Intervention Team (JJ-FIT) provides two treatment modalities for San Diego Unified School District youth who are on probation and their families, the first being Multi-Systemic Therapy (MST), an evidence-based intensive family treatment intervention for youth ages 12-16 who meet criteria for either Oppositional Defiant Disorder or Conduct Disorder. The second treatment is Assertive Community Treatment (ACT), which provides individual and family treatment to youth 12-18 years old who present with a serious and persistent mental illness, such as schizophrenia, mood disorders, depression, and other psychotic disorders.

San Diego Unified School District: Marcy Day Treatment Program

Marcy School, a day rehabilitation program, is an alternative high school for students whose underlying mental health issues impede their ability to benefit from an education within a comprehensive school setting. The goal of the program is to offer sufficient educational supports to enable the student to return to a more traditional school environment.

San Diego Unified School District: New Dawn High School and Day Treatment Program

New Dawn High School, a day rehabilitation program, is an alternative high school for students whose underlying mental health issues impede their ability to benefit from an education within a comprehensive school setting. The goal of the program is to offer sufficient educational supports to enable the student to return to a more traditional school environment. Following a period of stabilization of symptoms and behavior, students are eligible for dual enrollment at a comprehensive setting.

San Diego Unified School District: San Diego Adolescent Pregnancy and Parenting Program

San Diego Adolescent Pregnancy and Parenting Program (SANDAPP) provides case management and counseling services to pregnant and parenting youth throughout San Diego County. In addition, SANDAPP also offers Parent Child Interaction Therapy services for teen parents and their children to improve bonding and attachment and resolve behavior issues and concerns. These services offer a hands-on approach to parenting skill development and are proven to reduce behaviors of the child’s that the teen parent is concerned about.
