UCSD CARE Program

The CARE research program is located at the University of California, San Diego, Medical Center. Its primary goal is to identify and assess adolescents and young adults who are experiencing changes in their thoughts, behavior or emotions that might be associated with developing serious and/or disabling mental problems.

Services:

(1) Intensive Outpatient Program, (2) Pharmacologic management, including alternative/complementary medicine, (3) Individual psychotherapy, (4) Group psychotherapy, (5) Teen group, (6) College readiness group, (7) Adult mental health support group, (8) Multi-family support group, (9) Family therapy, (10) Supported employment/education services (11) Referrals to UC San Diego Health inpatient care

Eligibility:

Participants must be between ages of 12 and 30 years.
