Volunteer Opportunities

JoyMakers make a positive impact on the children, teens, and families we serve. By providing a unique blend of volunteerism, raising awareness, and in-kind and monetary donations throughout the year, JoyMakers continue to make an incredible impact toward our mission. Food Baskets for Families

Many of the children and families we serve are not only dealing with mental health issues that affect their family’s dynamic and individual well-being, but also with the stress of putting food on the table on the table due to severe lack of resources. By providing a basket (or grocery bag) of nonperishable food and a gift card to a local grocery store, you will help alleviate daily stressors and create joy for families as they spend time preparing and sharing meals together.

Provide a food basket for a family of 4. Non-perishable food items (e.g. rice, beans, canned vegetables, boxed potatoes) and a gift certificate to a local grocery store to purchase a turkey and other perishable items.
