Palomar Health: Adult Inpatient Mental Health Services (Bayview Behavioral Health Campus)

Provides comprehensive inpatient mental health treatment for adults and seniors with acute psychiatric needs. Provides psychiatric intensive care where up to 72 hours of emergency intervention, treatment, and further evaluation can be provided to stabilize critical psychiatric conditions.

Parental Stress Hotline

Parents and caregivers with problems related to their children call for support. Trained volunteer counselors who are sympathetic and non-judgmental answer the Parental Stress Line. No problem is too big or too small for a parent to call. We have a translation service so if you, or someone you know, needs a translator don’t hesitate to call.

Pathfinders of San Diego: Recovery Homes

Pathfinders of San Diego is a long term, residential, social-model men’s recovery home that has been treating those suffering from alcoholism since 1950. Located in beautiful San Diego, Pathfinders provides a safe and pro-social environment that is beneficial to the healing process. Using a biopsychosocial approach to treatment of alcohol addiction, pathfinders provides our residents an affordable, long term reintegration solution while acquiring the tools to achieve long term sobriety and a healthy, productive and independent life.

Pathfinders of San Diego: Shelter Plus Care

The Pathfinders recovery program in recent years has been expanded to include a special group of alcoholic men. The Shelter Plus Care program serves homeless alcoholics with a dual diagnosis of substance abuse and mental illness. This population is considered by health officials as one of the most under-served groups of homeless people in the nation.

Pemarro Recovery Center

At Pemarro, we utilize evidence-based treatment methods combined with peer-to-peer interaction to create a social environment for clients to help each other in early recovery. The program strives to provide a multidisciplinary approach tailored to the needs of each client. Pemarro’s team of skilled professionals come from diverse educational backgrounds to build the foundation for long-term recovery through personalized treatment. Pemarro provides short term residential detoxification services, ranging from 3-10 days, depending on the individual’s needs. The length of stay in detoxification is based on the substance used and presenting withdrawal symptoms. The goal is to stabilize each individual physically and mentally in preparation for transition into outpatient, inpatient, or residential treatment.

Located on the North Coast of San Diego County, we offer comprehensive substance abuse and mental health outpatient services, as well as an intensive outpatient treatment program for teens ages 12 to 17.
