Center for Community Solutions: Transitional Housing Program
Founded in 1969, Center for Community Solutions (CCS) helps more than 10,000 adults and children each year to heal and prevent relationship and sexual violence. CCS operates the only rape crisis center in the city of San Diego along with a countywide 24-hour bilingual crisis helpline. The nonprofit agency also provides emergency domestic violence shelters, hospital and court accompaniment, as well as legal and counseling services for those affected by domestic violence and sexual assault. CCS also works with local community groups and schools to provide innovative prevention programs to promote healthy relationships and peaceful communities.

Child Welfare Services: Extended Foster Care
Extended Foster Care (EFC) provides support to foster care youth up to their 21st birthday. This provides foster youth with an opportunity to have increased responsibilities and independence, which will help prepare them for self sufficiency.

Crisis House: Transitional Living Programs
Crisis House provides transitional living programs for homeless women with children fleeing domestic violence situations, homeless families with children, and adults with substance abuse history and mental health issues.

Doors of Change: Housing Program
Doors of Change is an intensive program for homeless males ages 18-24. In addition to receiving safe housing in a residential setting for 18-36 months, participants attend a mandatory six month outpatient drug/alcohol rehab program, individual and group therapy, music therapy, and NA and AA meetings.

The Safe Parking Program provides a safe parking environment and supportive services for transitional homeless living in their vehicles for overnight stays. Family advocates construct an action plan with each participant placing emphasis on permanent housing solutions, employment, training, emergency supports and asset stabilization and building.

Founded in 1979, Community Resource Center (CRC) is a nonprofit social services agency serving residents throughout coastal North San Diego County. CRC is dedicated to helping women and children, individuals, and families live safe, self-sufficient lives by providing critical assistance in the areas of domestic violence services, food programs, and emergency and transitional housing assistance.

Home Start: Maternity Shelter Program
The Maternity Shelter Program provides safe, secure and supportive housing with intensive case management services for pregnant and parenting young women who are between 18 and 24 years old, and their dependent children. These women are homeless or are at risk of becoming homeless.

Independent Livings are privately-owned multi-unit complexes or homes which provide housing for adults with mental illness and others who may benefit from the structure and fellowship of a shared housing environment.

Interfaith Community Services: Inland Service Center
Interfaith Community Services, was founded in 1982 by a handful of diverse faith communities to address the needs of low-income, homeless, and underserved people in North San Diego County. Separately, these congregations were providing relief to people in need, but by creating Interfaith they were better able to collaborate to make a bigger impact on the needs of people in our community. As participation grew, Interfaith evolved into broad continuum of programs and services that provides the tools and resources people in crisis need to stabilize and rebuild their lives. These programs are organized into nine main areas: food and basic needs, shelters and housing, family and social services, employment services, children and youth programs, senior services, veterans assistance, addiction recovery, and community connections. Under these department headings are numerous programs covering a broad spectrum of support. Programs are designed to overlap so that each client receives as many services as necessary for his/her specific situation.
