TransitionalHousing.org

TransitionalHousing.org is for those who are in need of locating transitional housing in their area. We also provide halfway housing, shared housing and group housing.

Vista Hill: Sober Living and Geisel House

Recognizing that a stable home environment is essential to successful recovery from substance abuse, Vista Hill found a solution by acquiring a 26-unit apartment complex in 2000. Operating as a sober living environment, the Vista Hill Sober Living Apartments provide transitional housing in a safe and sober environment in the Lemon Grove community.

Walden Family Services: Transitional Housing Program Plus Foster Care (THP+FC)

Walden’s Transitional Housing Program + Foster Care is a licensed comprehensive transitional housing program that provides services in the form of supervised apartment or host family living.

Women’s Resource Center

Women’s Resource Center (WRC) is dedicated to providing the highest quality supportive services, counseling, shelter and education to North San Diego County women, children and men involved in or threatened by domestic violence or sexual assault.

YMCA: Oz San Diego

YMCA Oz San Diego is an intensive two week residential treatment program for youth ages 12-17. While in treatment, youth attend counseling sessions and engage in daily enrichment and recreational activities. Upon completion of the residential treatment program, the youth and family are able to return for 8 family therapy aftercare sessions. The program is based on positive youth development, focusing on youth strengths and the development of coping, communication, and life skills.

YMCA: Tommie’s Place

Tommie’s Place is a transitional living program for young adults who are pregnant or parenting and are currently homeless or becoming homeless in the near future. The 18 month program is designed to facilitate the transition from homelessness to self-sufficiency with an additional focus on positive parenting.

YMCA: Transitional Housing Program (THP) and Transitional Housing Program Plus Foster Care (THP+FC)

The YMCA’s transitional housing programs are designed to support transition age youth by building independent living skills with a focus on goal attainment and emotional wellness.

YMCA: Turning Point Transitional Living Program

Turning Point is a transitional living program that will provide housing for up to 18 months in addition to case management services during and after residency with the goal of productivity (which is defined as working on mental health, employment, and/or educational goals).
