This program serves voluntary and involuntary adults with serious mental illness and/or co-occurring substance dependence who need full-time care in a locked psychiatric facility to maintain safety. The goal is to stabilize clients and help them transition smoothly back into the community. The average stay is 4 months to 1 year.

Services:

24-hour a day supervision and residential care, comprehensive treatment team evaluations, behavior modification, relapse prevention, education and symptom management, support for families, rehabilitation services

Payment Options:

Private insurance/Private pay/Medi-Cal on a case-by-case basis

Eligibility:

18 years of age or older, mental health diagnosis, physician’s referral to the facility/level of care, medical necessity
