Love is Respect

619-235-5656 / Chat line: 1-866-331-9474

This website is basically dating: 101. It explores what dating looks like, ways to respect your partner’s needs, and how to communicate what you want. It also deals with dating abuse, ‘which happens when one partner exerts power and control over the other’. It has tips to help you learn how to prevent, recognize and escape unhealthy relationships (online and off), and even offers legal assistance from the lawyer volunteer program and a live peer chat line.

Services:

Highly-trained advocates offer support, information and advocacy to young people who have questions or concerns about their dating relationships. They also provide information and support to concerned friends and family members, teachers, counselors, service providers and members of law enforcement. Free and confidential phone, live chat and texting services are available 24/7/365.
